My almost constant companion she is a quiet girl who rarely barks, is a quick learner and a good little watch dog. Like a typical vallhund she always likes to know what is going on in the house and currently lives happily with other animals. She is a fun loving and active girl enjoying her walks, swimming and playing. Unfortunately as a young pup Fays vaccinations didn't take and she caught Parvo, which meant she missed out on socialising. This has left her a little unsure of strangers at first but once she gets to know someone she is their friend for life.
Recently in 2014 and 2015 we attended a vallhund herding taster day where the trainer was happy that all the dogs showed good instinct.
Fay is lightly shown with some success, a few being winning Best puppy in show at SVS Open Show 2012, Best Puppy in Breed at WKC Ch Show 2012, RCC at WKC Ch Show 2014, RCC at Windsor Ch Show 2015 and RCC at National Working and Pastoral Breeds Association 2016.
As well as enjoying the life of a pampered pet and the occasional show Fay has also been taking part in Flyball. She has been training since 2013 and has really impressed the other team members with what a vallhund can do. We will be competing in races under the British Flyball Association from 2015.
